ISM Weekly Report

This week in ISM, we began giving speeches to our fellow students and our teacher, the speech that each student gets to give needs to be about ten minutes long. The speech is about a variety of different aspects of the ISM program that the student has accomplished or learned of. Specifically we need to include our interview assessments, our research assessments, our blogs, our original work proposal and so on. I found it really meaningful and fulfilling to listen to the speech presentations of my fellow classmates. It was really cool to be able to hear and see what interests them and learn about what they are learning about. To see what makes them tick and to see the process that they have gone through to get to where they are today and listen to what they had experienced and what that experience has taught them and how it has shaped them. Giving the speech is primarily an exercise to help my fellow students with speaking in front of a crowd and being confident and clear with our language. Also we will grade ourselves so that we may look at the areas in which we need to improve upon so that we know what we need to change so that we can do better next time.
