ISM Weekly Report

I was so excited to start taking ISM this year. It is like the land of opportunity, it gives the students the power and the awesome responsibility to dictate what they themselves learn. I waited all summer for this class to come and here it is! I absolutely love ISM even in the fairly short period of time that I have been in the class. From the people that are in the class with me to the teacher herself, Coach Goff, they help make it worthwhile. Along with the abundant privilege that the program grants the students there is also a large workload. I had only heard from students in the past of the large amounts of work that the class demands from each of its students. So far I really enjoy it, over the first two weeks we went over some more fundamental elements of the class, ranging from the various assignments we will have, to public speaking, to professional dress. I must admit that the workload has kind of snuck up on me, as like many of us do, I participate in numerous amount of extracurricular activities. And I also do quite a bit for my school as I am the Senior Class President, and at the executive levels of various other clubs as well. I suppose I just have to adjust to the turbulent life that I have built for myself. I belive that will help me immensely later on in life, and I am so glad that I have the opportunity to do here in the ISM program.

My topic of study is corporate law, I have begun looking at articles and conducting research into the background information of the field. I have a lot to learn and I am eager to continue my pursuit of knowledge.
